In a Tragic incident near Hub Balochistan the lives of at least 18 Pilgrims were Lost and around 50 others Sustained injuries. The Calamity unfolded late on Eid-ul-Fitr Night when a truck carrying Pilgrims to the Shah Noorani Shrine veered off the Road and Plunged into a Ravine.
Reports indicate that the truck was en Route from Karachi to the Shah Noorani Shrine when the accident Occurred. Balochistan Government Spokesperson Shahid Rind Confirmed that 17 individuals Lost their lives in the Mishap while 40 others Suffered injuries with Some in Critical Condition. Swift action was taken to Transport the injured to the Karachi Trauma Centre for urgent Medical Attention.
Emergency Protocols were immediately Activated with Jam Ghulam Qadir Hospital in Hub Declaring an Emergency and initiating Relief Operations. The fact that the Affected individuals Hailed from the same Locality underscores the Profound impact of the tragedy on the Community.
Expressing deep Sorrow over the Loss of Lives Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti directed Authorities to ensure the Provision of the Best Possible Medical Care to the injured. Moreover the Balochistan Government is Collaborating with the Sindh Government to Facilitate Medical Assistance for the injured.
