The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is urging the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja, to address the Reservations of all Political Parties and ensure a level Playing field for the upcoming General Elections on February 8. Faisal Karim Kundi Information Secretary of PPP, Emphasized the Party’s stance for timely, Free and fair Elections. A PPP Delegation has already met with the CEC to Communicate their Concerns and assurances have been Given that there will be no delay in the Elections.

Kundi Highlighted the importance of the Masses in Deciding which Political Party to Vote for emphasizing that free and fair Elections are essential for Public acceptance of any Government. He Stressed that the Credibility of the Parliament Relies on Conducting transparent Elections.

Addressing Rumors about a Potential Social media ban during Elections Kundi Stated that PPP would Strongly oppose any Restrictions Considering Social media as a Crucial tool for reaching the Masses. He Pointed out the Critical law and Order Situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan noting that Social media Plays a vital Role in accessing People during such Situations.

PPP consistently advocates for the implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP) to combat terrorism. Asif Ali Zardari, President of PPP Parliamentarians, has emphasized that transparent and timely polls are the key to overcoming the challenges faced by the country.
