PM Shehbaz and UAE President’s Eid Greetings Pave Way for Closer Ties

It was quite pleasant to know that in today’s world where the differences between countries are even leading them to fight, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, and the President of UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan took some time and spoke on phone and exchanged Eid-ul-Adha greetings on Wednesday. This simple act of friendliness has great historical and political meaning and is considered the foundation of friendly and reciprocal bilateral relations between the two countries.

Recalling the official visit aimed at boosting bilateral cooperation during May 2024, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s solid intention to further strengthen the UAE brothership relations and bring the relations into an evolutionary strategic partnership level. The idea of this alliance is to further concentrate on the development of bilateral trade and investment so that both nations can experience a boost in their economy.

Given the significance of periodic high-level interaction between the two countries, Pakistan today extended an invitation to The UAE President to visit Pakistan shortly.
