The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan Mohammad Ishaq Dar will Represent Pakistan at the 15th Organization of Islamic Cooperation OIC summit in Banjul the Capital of The Gambia. The Summit is Scheduled for May 4 and 5 and it is a Significant Event for Leaders from Islamic Countries to discuss Pressing issues Facing the Muslim Community Worldwide.

Before the Summit Deputy Prime Minister Dar will also attend the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers’ Meeting which takes Place from May 2 and 3. The purpose of the meeting is to Prepare the Agenda and Finalize the Documents for the Summit.

The oic Summit is Happening at a Critical Time Especially as the Conflict is happening  in Gaza and Continues to Cause Significant Suffering. It is an opportunity for OIC Leaders to unite and Present a Strong Stand on the palestinian issue. Deputy Prime Minister Dar will address the Summit Focusing on Pakistan’s Views on Several Crucial Matters.

During the Speech he Will talk about the Ongoing Violence in Gaza and Express Support for the Right of the People of jammu and kashmir to Shape their own Future. He will also Highlight the importance of Solidarity with Muslim Countries and discuss issues like islamophobia, Climate Change and Terrorism. By discussing these Topics he Aims to Encourage Solutions to the Challenges facing by Muslims around  the World.
