Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Expressed Optimism about the joint Development and Prosperity between Pakistan and China through Collaborative investments in Various Projects. In an interview with a Chinese News Agency he Highlighted the enduring Friendship between the two Nations Spanning over 70 Years and Nurtured by their Leadership.
Referring to Pakistan and China as Iron Brothers Prime Minister Shehbaz Emphasized the need to Elevate their Friendship to new Heights. Chinese President Xi Jinping Congratulated Sharif on his Election as Prime Minister which was Deeply appreciated by Sharif who Sees it as a Promising start to further Cooperation.
Sharif Praised China’s Modernization Model Describing it as a Success Story that has lifted Millions out of Poverty and Provided access to Education, Healthcare and Employment. He Stressed the importance of Replicating this Model in Pakistan to Alleviate Poverty, Generate Employment and Promote Entrepreneurship in Various Sectors.
Pakistan has been a Strong Supporter of China’s Global Development Initiative and Global Security Initiative Aiming to Strengthen Global Connectivity and Security. Sharif Commended China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) for its Vision in fostering Economic Development Reducing Poverty and Promoting investment and Cooperation among Nations.
Regarding the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Sharif Highlighted its Significance as a flagship Project of the BRI. He Discussed Plans to attract Chinese investment in Sectors such as information Technology, industry and Agriculture, aiming to Create jobs and Boost Production and Exports.
