Muslim Leaders in Pakistan Call for Unity to Help Palestine

A well-represented meeting of the Pakistan Ulema Council was held in Islamabad. The participants urged the Muslim world to unite for collective efforts in an attempt to resolve the Palestinian issue. This follows the massive killing of people in Gaza resulting from war conflict between the Gaza area and Israel.

The list of those present in the meeting included the meeting to discuss assistance for the people of Palestine and improvement in the Hajj pilgrimage some Pakistani government officials, religious leaders, and others who came from Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

The situation in Palestine is Very Serious

The gigantic body, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, is convening for an extraordinary session in a few days. It would deliberate on what action should be taken to force Israel to stop its heinous crimes against the Palestinians and to bring to an end the massacre of innocents in Palestine. There is a growing concern that the conflict might spill over to the neighboring countries.

Saudi Arabia Praised for Helping with Hajj

The delegations present at the meeting said nice things about Saudi Arabia. They extended thanks to the Saudi king, the crown prince, and the minister in charge of Hajj for the warm welcome and good arrangements. They praised the effort of the Saudi government for it had arranged a great Hajj this year. Hajj refers to that special journey that people of the Muslim faith undertake towards the city of Mecca.

This Year a Large Number of Pakistanis Performed Hajj

In 2024, the number of people who proceeded for Hajj from Pakistan was somewhere near 160,000. Some were assisted by the government, and others went with private companies. It took place from the 14th to the 19th of June, and millions of Muslims from all over the world.

The Muslim leaders of Pakistan want the unification of all the Muslim nations so that they can help the people of Palestine. They also thanked Saudi Arabia for doing a good job regarding the Hajj pilgrimage. The situation in Palestine remains very serious, with many people suffering because of the ongoing war.
