In a heartbreaking turn of events, a terminated Karachi policeman, Abdul Fatah, has resorted to an extreme measure to overcome poverty by putting his and his children’s kidneys up for sale. Faced with financial hardships after losing his job, Fatah staged a protest in Karachi, holding a poster that read ‘Kidneys for sale at the price of Rs400,000 for being restored to his police service and bear lawyer’s fees.’

Abdul Fatah, who was deputed to Security Zone I, explained that his termination resulted from taking additional leaves due to his wife’s illness. With his wife and specially-abled daughter in a wheelchair beside him, Fatah broke into tears while describing the dire financial situation his family now faces.

The former Cop father to five Children expressed his inability to afford legal fees to fight for reinstatement while Struggling to Provide basic necessities for his Family. He emphasized that his specially-abled daughter requires daily medical care costing at least Rs2,000, and the family needs a minimum of Rs2,000 for Food.
