Japan is on third with six points after three matches, Pakistan is in need of avoiding deafeat in their final pool match against Japan in order to quality for the World Cup.

Malaysia in the World Cup
Malaysia, host as well as World Cup qualifier entered the Junior Asia Cup Semi-finals, all the other three teams making it to the last four will also gain entry into the World Cup as well.
In the last match between India and Pakistan, India took the lead via a penalty corner in the second quarter after Sharad Nand Tiwari drag flicked the ball in the net. Ali Basharat from Pakistan netted from close distance to make it 1-1 in the match.
Abdul Hanan Shahid from Pakistan was declared as player of the match and has been constant threat for his opponents throughout the match. The event of Junior Hockey World Cup will be concluded on June 1.

The Consultant of Junior Hockey team of Pakistan said, “I am here as the Junior team consultant and my first challenge is to see Pakistan qualifying for the World Cup. If we succeed in making it to the semi-finals from group A, we would be in a position to qualify for the World Cup”.
