Caretaker Federal Minister for Information Murtaza Solangi, Highlighted the Government’s Commitment to Finding a Solution to the Concerns Raised by Balochistan Protesters through Peaceful Negotiations. In an interview he expressed the Government’s desire for Protestors to return Home with Dignity, Honor and Safety Emphasizing the Preference for talks to be held in Balochistan or Quetta instead of Islamabad.
Solangi noted that a Significant number of Protesters from Balochistan, Primarily women, were Peacefully demonstrating in front of the National Press Club. The Government ensured Security, ambulance Services and Medical Facilities for their well-being. The minister emphasized the right of Everyone to engage in peaceful Protest and the Government’s efforts to Prevent any inconvenience for the Demonstrators.
Acknowledging the longstanding Demands of the Protesters, Solangi disclosed that the Negotiation Committee had engaged in talks with them the Previous day. He Provided insights into the Protesters’ journey from Balochistan their refusal to Relocate to designated Protest areas and the subsequent developments near Motorway Chowk in Islamabad.

As the Protesters approached the Red Zone, law enforcement agencies intervened to maintain order. Solangi detailed the arrests made, Highlighting the involvement of some Protesters in Stone-Pelting incidents. He assured that arrested Women were released and the Process of releasing 163 arrested men was Underway.
