Cold Wave Grips Karachi: Temperatures Dip, Foggy Conditions

Karachi’s climate is cold and dry with little to moderate fog, cool temperature of 13.2 to 26 C, NE wind of 12 km/h, and 31% humidity.

From the current meteorological report, it is found that Karachi is passing through cold and dry weather nowadays. The early morning and night times of the city are experiencing a bit of fogy ambient with the remaining times experiencing cool weather throughout the metropolis.

The Met Office said that the maximum temperature stood at 24.5 Celsius during the day while the minimum temperature recorded was 13.5 Celsius. In different parts of the city, different temperatures were recorded; the lowest recorded was in Jinnah Terminal at 13.2 C; other areas of the city including Gulistan Johar, Shara-e-Faisal, Mauripur, and Bin Qasim brought temperatures between 13.5 and 14 C. They are expecting the maximum temperature today to be between 26 and 28 degrees Celsius to retain the current moderate-day atmosphere.

Meteorological factors show that northeastern winds are prevailing at 12 kilometers per hour with 31 percent humility. People are encouraged to wear warm clothing throughout the day, especially in the morning and in the evening since fog is most usually experienced at these times.
