All you need to know about London’s Emerging Pakistan campaign

All you need to know about London’s Emerging Pakistan campaign on Wednesday, a bus campaign was financed by a British Pakistani businessman in London, with total of 150 double-decker buses carrying the slogan of “emerging Pakistan.” Beneath the tagline were the pictures of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif. The buses can be seen on the roads of London.

The campaign was launched on Wednesday and will be carried on for the whole month. Hundreds and thousands of Londoners will see these buses. The buses will cover 43 routes throughout the city, from morning till night.

The businessman who financed the campaign agreed to share his view on the condition of anonymity. He said that Londoners would get a chance to learn about Pakistan through the ‘emerging Pakistan’ campaign. He anticipated that millions would have seen the buses with slogans and pictures by the end of four weeks.

The cost of the campaign also grabbed the attention of many leading advertising agencies in the city. According to an estimate, the campaign would have cost around £100,000 to sponsor. The sponsor, a British Pakistani Businessman, wants to remain anonymous because he wishes to highlight a positive image of Pakistan without coming under the spotlight.

He said he wants to pay tribute to Pakistan and remind the masses about the brand – Emerging Pakistan, a project started by the PML–N government when Pakistan’s GDP growth rate was touching 6% and Pakistan was officially ranked in the Morgan Stanley Emerging Markets Indices.

The anonymous sponsor also said that according to him, Shehbaz Sharif is an excellent leader and the outstanding development in Punjab is a sign of his extraordinary leadership skills. He also added that a person of his caliber and stellar track record deserves the praise and support of the business community.
