The two countries inked a number of business-to-business trade agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth $10.7 million during the recent Trade Expo Indonesia. These agreements covers a wide range of industries including consumer goods, cocoa, spices gum, copal, dried coconut, dried ginger, coconut products and especially auto parts.
Pakistan and Indonesia have made significant progress in strengthening their business relations with the help of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
Private companies, business associations, and government organisations from both nations worked together to create these agreements.
Pakistan and Indonesia, the two significant members of the Organization of Islamic relations (OIC), reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening trade and economic relations with support from the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
Indonesia’s acting consul general Teguh Wiyoko, appreciated the Pakistan involvement in the trade delegation. He considers it as a significant step in boosting the trade and economic relations between the nation, particularly with the business sector in Sindh. Teguh Wiyoko stated that “This is a positive step towards fostering deeper economic cooperation.”
The chairman of the Pakistan-Indonesia Business Council, Abid Nisar is being optimistic about the two nations growing their commercial links. He even pointed out how their shared history and culture can set the groundwork for future success.
Indonesia wants to help Pakistan by establishing more economic stability in the country via its economic experience as a G20 member. It is expected that SIFC’s activities will strengthen Pakistan’s economy and improve bilateral ties between the two countries.
