If parents Refuse Polio Vaccine they will Be Jailed

The Sindh Government in Pakistan has taken a very strict decision so can can stop the a polio vaccination refusal. The Sindh Government introduced a new law which included jail for polio refusal.   If parents denies to give polio vaccine to their children against the dangerous crippling disease theywill get jail and have to pay fine. Deputy commissioners are authorized to take strict action against  parents according to Sindh Immunization and Epidemic Control Bill 2023.

 New Law for polio refusal

The new law include a fine of 50,000 rupees and one month jail for parents who refuse to vaccinate their children against polio. The Health Department and polio workers will coordinate with the police. They will tell police about parents who refuse vaccination. Police will punish those parents who will not take polio seriously. 

Polio Campaign 

Earlier this week Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah organised one week long anti-polio campaign across 24 districts. They do arrangement for polio drops  to children at the Gulshan-e-Aka Khail in Gadap. This is a newly started organistaion. He talks about children’s care and ask parents to protect their children from the dangerouse virus. There is only one way to fight polio nad that is oral polio vaccine.

CM Murad talked about the we need to take imported decision so we can eradicate polio from the Country. He also talks about community togetherness. He said together as a community lets make our country polio free. He talk about the importance of polio-free environment. This is one very imported way for the healthier future for our children,” he said.

The numbers of polio cases in increasing day by day that’s why Pakistan leaders take strict action to stop polio.  They have done Environmental samples test in country. They receive poilio virus samples from Karachi and Quetta. These samples are the prove how we need to fight polio. This same virus was also found in polio positive area Chaman and Dera Bugti.
