Turkish Army Chief and CJCSC Reaffirm Strategic Ties Strengthening Bilateral Military Cooperation

In a recent meeting at Joint Staff Headquarters in Rawalpindi, the Chief of the Turkish General Staff, General Metin Gürak, met with Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza. They talked about ways to make their Military Cooperation stronger. They both agreed to Deepen their Strategic ties.

General Metin Gürak praised the skills and dedication of the Pakistan Armed Forces. he also Acknowledged the Sacrifices they have made in the fight against Terrorism. When General Gürak arrived at the headquarters, a group of soldiers from different branches of the military welcomed him with a ‘Guard of Honour,’ showing respect and honor for his visit.

This meeting follows another important visit earlier in March, when General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Issa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, Commander of the Bahrain National Guard, met with General Sahir Shamshad Mirza. They talked about different things concerning their military interests and how they can make security and defense cooperation better between Bahrain and Pakistan.

These meetings are very important because they talked about the importance of strong ties between both Countries. When Nations work together closely, they can achieve more in all sectors like in terms of Security and Defense.  If both nations share Knowledge, Resources and Strategies they can achieve anything they want. Pakistan and its Allies like Turkey and Bahrain can better protect their citizens and contribute to Peace and stability in the Region.

These talks show that they are dedicated to making friends and trusting each other between countries.
