School’s out and summer is in its full swing, signifying one thing – it’s vacation time. While some like to take their time to enjoy the season before they jet off, June is a good time to book a getaway. In some tourist destinations, crowds won’t come until July, leaving a vast room for discounts on hotels and flights. I took into account these factors as well as seasonal events, weather, and a variety of location types (from serene beaches to city centers) to come up with the best spots to visit in June.
Glacier National Park
A showcase of melting glaciers, carved valleys, alpine meadows, and spectacular lakes. With over 700 miles of trails, Glacier is indeed a paradise for travel enthusiasts.
During this time, Glacier National Park’s lodging and travel rates are much lower than the rest of the months, and you won’t have the risk of getting overheated while traveling the Highline Trail or the Iceberg Lake Trail since high temps hover in the low 70s.

Paris
Paris’ stunning architectural beauty is best experienced bathed in the sun. The city is famous for its gloom during the colder months, but daytime highs usher in a warmer and brighter disposition in June. Sunny days are ideal for seeing the city’s beautiful sights, such as the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. Plus, seasonal festivals and concerts have started to pop throughout the city. Keep in mind that summer is the peak tourist season in Paris, so expect higher rates for accommodations and crowds.
Prince Edward Island
Prince Edward Island is Canada’s smallest province, but it is big on relaxation. Life moves a little more slowly here, making it an ideal place to unwind. Arrive in June to enjoy a calming stroll or bike ride along the shore before crowds come to the island later in summer.
