Plans for the third part of the immensely successful Aashiqui series, held by actor Kartik Aaryan in association with director Anurag Basu, have been uprooted because actress Triptii Dimri has been replaced. As per the reports Times Now, this decision has occurred after the filmmakers decided that Triptii Dimri is not suitable for this role as the film requires a very chaste image.
One person involved in the making said, “The basic precondition to become the heroine of Aashiqui 3 is innocence reflecting through. It seems that Triptii Dimri has exposed herself too much with her recent films for this romantic film requires a soulful love interest.
With Animal, Triptii who has previously directed films like Laila Majnu and Bulbbul rose to a larger limelight. Yet, Bad Newz and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, her other films that followed the blockbuster hit were a disaster at the box office. According to an NDTV report the filmmakers are on the lookout for a new face who can portray this innocence and charm.
There is still search for the leading female character, and considering this point fans are interested in who will become Kartik Aaryan’s equivalent in the legendary story. The Aashiqui franchise thus alive is still loved for its simple beautiful love stories and melodious albums.
