Saudi Arabia has made a new rule for Muslims visiting during Ramadan. Usually, when people go to Saudi Arabia for Umrah, they can do it as many times as they want during their stay. But now, the government says you can only do it once during Ramadan. This change is because too many people were doing Umrah again and again, making the holy places crowded.
During Ramadan, lots of Muslims come to Makkah to do Umrah. Makkah is the most important place in Islam. But now, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah wants to make sure it’s not too crowded. They say by letting people do Umrah only once, it will be less crowded and more people can get the chance to do it.
