pti condemns arrest of leaders and workers stands against oppressive tactics
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has Strongly Denounced the recent Arrests of its Party Leaders and Members who Participated in Protests against the Outcome of the General Election as Reported by News on Monday.
During a Recent Core Committee Meeting the PTI Vehemently Condemned the apprehension of Prominent Leaders such as Latif Khosa and Salman Akram Raja. The Party accused the Ruling Authorities whom they Deemed Unconstitutional, of Resorting to Oppressive measures to Maintain their Contested Authority.
The PTI Core Committee expressed outrage over the arrest of Hafiz Farhat Abbas a recently Elected Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) labeling it as a false Case. They Viewed such Actions as attempts to Suppress Dissent and Silence Opposition Voices.
Furthermore the Committee Criticized the Registration of what they Termed as Fake and Unconstitutional Proposals by the Chief Minister Viewing them as Desperate attempts by the Ruling Party to Cling to Power in the Face of Defeat.
In Response to these Developments the PTI Core Committee Declared March 15 as Islamophobia Day Citing the actions of the PTI Founder that led to its Global Recognition. Additionally they announced Plans to Celebrate Pakistan Day on March 23 with full Enthusiasm Reaffirming their Commitment to the ideals and Principles of the Nation.
