Pakistan is facing heavy rainfall which caused huge damage and destruction.Heavy rains affect people’s life, damage their house and affect their life in many ways.it  have caused huge damage across Pakistan.  with the latest report from the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) revealing a toll of 98 lives lost and 89 people injured. In the provinces of  Khyber Pakhtunkhwa recorded the highest number of casualties. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 46 people lost their lives. in   fPunjab with 26  people died and many got injured and in Balochistan 15 people died. In  Azad Kashmir 11 people lost their lives and several got injured.

The heavy downpour has also resulted in the destruction of homes, with 536 houses completely damaged and 2,725 partially damaged nationwide. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa bore the brunt of this destruction, with 436 houses completely damaged, followed by Azad Kashmir and Balochistan.

The Weather forecast predicts more rain to be continued with heavy Wind and Thunderstorms in various regions. According to prediction, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and the Potohar region are included.  Snowfall is also expected in the northern mountainous areas.

In Balochistan The impact of the rainfall was the most severe. The port city of Gwadar was submerged and numerous villages were drowned. The Pak-Iran coastal belt also suffered huge Damage to link roads and Bridges and disrupted Transportation.

 Heavy rainfall caused more problems in Chaman and surrounding areas. Destroying mud dwellings and triggering flash floods. The non-stop rain on nearby slopes made the situation worse and led to huge Devastation.

All these recent events show that Pakistan urgently needs better plans for dealing with Disasters. They also  need to improve its infrastructure to lessen the effects of natural Disasters. The Government needs to act fast to help those people who are getting affected by these Disasters and try to stop similar Damage from happening again.
