Dubai’s Swift Recovery After Floods Sheikh Hamdan’s Directive Mobilizes Property Developers to Aid Affected Communities

Dubai’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum recently approved a Series of Urgent initiatives to Mitigate the Damage caused by a Severe Storm that Struck the UAE last Week. This Storm caused Flooding, Leading to Damage to Roads, Buildings and Residential Properties across Dubai.

In Response to this Natural Disaster, Sheikh Hamdan issued a Directive urging Property Developers and Management Companies to assist Communities affected by the Floods. These measures are intended to Provide Essential Services and Support to those who Suffered Losses during the Storm.

The Services Outlined in the Directive include Free Temporary Housing for Residents who Can no Longer Stay in their Homes, Food distribution within the affected Communities and assistance with Returning to Residential Properties. Enhanced Security measures have also been implemented to ensure the Safety of all Residents during this Recovery Period.

Several Prominent Dubai Property Developers have Stepped forward to Participate in this initiative. These Developers, including Emaar, Nakheel, Dubai Holding, Union Properties and Dubai Investments Park are Working in Collaboration with the Dubai Land Department and the Real Estate Regulatory Agency to implement the Recovery Plan.
