The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) inaugurated the expansion of the Sheikh Zayed Hospital for Women in Larkana. This is in the province of Pakistan.
This new expansion is a part of the development initiative of healthcare sectors. This is a recent example of Emirates Red Crescent’s (ERC) commitment to humanitarian efforts and developmental initiatives.
The inauguration ceremony of the expansion of ‘Sheikh Zayed Hospital for Women’ is attended by the ERC delegation led by Secretary-General Rashid Mubarak Al Mansouri. They showed their priority, the priority is to help needy people in the region.
ERC Aims to Enhance Healthcare in Pakistan
In this new expansion project, UAE broader its support for Pakistan’s public healthcare sector. This aims to make healthcare available to the local public in Pakistan. By providing medical services and extending the reach of the hospital’s healthcare programs ERC is trying to help and fulfil healthcare needs in the region of Pakistan.
In its expansion, ERC included an increase in the current capacity of beds in hospitals by 200. ERC also expanded the surgical complex and emergency centers. The expansion is the establishment of a surgical complex featuring four operating rooms and a 15-bed recovery unit. This facility will ease surgical procedures, enabling medical teams to deliver specialized care to patients.
Apart from these, the expansion is also related to the diagnostics center. ERC expanded the laboratory, endoscopy department, medical fitness area, and vaccination rooms. These are important for improving basic health infrastructure.
After focusing on the basic and mandatory needs of the healthcare sector of Pakistan, the ERC also planning to work on the infrastructure of hospitals, and the replacement of outdated medical equipment with modern alternatives. By doing these changes the efficiency will increase and patients will get high-quality services in the region.
